Dies bezieht sich auf die enzephalographisch nachweisbaren Hirnreaktionen nach Vorlage von akustischen Signalen. Kann sowohl im Tierversuch wie auch am Menschen eingesetzt werden. Dient daher sowohl zu Forschungszwecken (Aufklaerung von Leitungsbahnen etc.) als auch zu diagnostischen Zwecken (Lokalisierung neuronaler Defekte)
