English to German translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical (general) / mammography | | English term or phrase: auxiliary tail | Es geht hier um DICOM-Angaben in Mammographiebildern. Der Kunde teilte mir mit, dass 'auxiliary tail' in medizinischen Kreisen weit verbreitet sei und sich sowohl auf einen anatomischen Bereich (wo die Brust zur Achsel übergeht) als auch auf einen Modifikator bezieht (oder Modifizierer?). Ich habe aber auch grundsätzlich Probleme, wie das hier mit den Modifikatoren bzw. Abkürzungen gemeint ist bzw. wie eine Ansicht nicht angezeigt werden darf?... Vielleicht kann mich ja ein Radiologe hier aufklären.

XXX follows the IHE MAMMO PROFILE for abbreviated
laterality, view codes and view code modifiers. For more detailed information, please refer to appendix B. (Anhang B beinhaltet lediglich eine Aufzählung der Angaben - technische Daten, Patientendaten usw. - die angezeigt werden können - ohne Modifizierer oder Abkürzungen oder Ansichtcodes).
- Image Laterality is prepended to the abbreviation.
- View must not be displayed for **‘auxiliary tail’ ** modifier.
- View and laterality must not be displayed for ‘tangential’ modifier.
- View must not be displayed for ‘cleavage’ modifier.
- Laterality must not be displayed for ‘cleavage’ modifier if laterality value is B (Both).
- A spot compression modifier shall be prepended as a prefix to the view 'S'.
- When multiple prefix or suffix modifiers are present, they shall be sorted alphabetically.
Example: For a Right breast in Latero-Medial view with Spot Compression and Magnification view modifiers, XXX will show:
