English to German translations [PRO] Medical - Medical (general) | | English term or phrase: airspace | I am trying to translate a part of a medical encyclopedia. It is about roentgenografic manifestations in the lungs. The word "airspace" occurs twice and I cannot find the correct translation. I only know the word from aviation, but not from a medical context.
- The appearance is similar to AIRSPACE edema of cardic origin. (Is Höhenödem the right word here?)
- The patchy zones of consolidation rapidly coalesce to a point of massive AIRSPACE consolidation of both lungs.
I am very thankful for your help. |

Explanation: Man spricht in diesem Zusammenhang von Konsolidierung:
Konsolidierung:
