Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass Gefäße und Nerven durchtrennt werden sollen... Könnte "frei präparieren" gemeint sein?

Ich würde übrigens "Gefäßstrukturen" anstelle von "vaskulären Strukturen" schreiben... :-)

Explanation:
Dissektion ist im deutschen Medicalese durchaus ein Fachbegriff -- wenn die Zielgruppe Laien sind, kannst du schreiben "sorgfältige Freilegung" o.Ä.
Sinn ist ja eben, dass du keine von den genannten Strukturen durchschneidest, sondern eben nur den Tumor entfernst -- aber dazu musst du halt vorher identifizieren, was was ist.
