The list includes dispensed medications ordered from within AHLTA but also any meds that have been prescribed outside of the Military healthcare system (if entered in to the system), OTC (Over the Counter) medications that the patient may be taking on their own, including herbs and supplements, and any medications that have been prescribed at other types of facilities that are linked to AHLTA (as with the VA system).
