English term or phrase: FCO (I think it stands for field change order)
My context is very sparse: "Seller sends FCO & Draft Contract for verification". This is from an agreement for the sale of heavy melting scrap. Don't worry, I'm not translating into German - my customer has had a translation done into German and the terminology used is a little bit dodgy so they've asked me to help out. After a spot of research I think that FCO means field change order - here's an example of it being used in another context:

"ECO is Engineering Change Order, and a TIMA kit is a Time-critical
Information Management Architecture kit. Both of these are common
synonyms for patch kits. Another related term is the FCO, which
is a Field Change Order -- from the perspective of you, the OpenVMS
customer, there is no difference between an ECO and an FCO." http://h71000.www7.hp.com/wizard/wiz_8462.html

Thanks for your help guys!

Ian M-H: 3:33pm Nov 3, 2005: Another reference (in scrap metal context) suggests that it could be "Full Corporate Offer" (but don't ask me what's corporate about it):

Ian: Thanks for your answer. This is what I ended up using, but I'm still a little uncertain that this is the one and only translation of FCO in this context
