Also, ich werde SCR dazuschreiben - danke fuer den Tipp, aber siliziumgesteuerter Gleichrichter schreiben (habe ich noch gefunden und gesteuert finde ich passender als steuerbar). Es ist ein (bestimmter?) Thyristor, aber Thyristor kommt auch andauernd im englischen Text vor, also muss ich zwischen den beiden differenzieren).

Wieso neutral? Weil es nicht falsch ist, halt nur ungebräuchlich (unter 40 Hits für diverse Kombinationen). Weil es richtig falsch ist, aber eine Erklärung, und nicht eine in der gleichen Begriffsebene verwendete Übersetzung. Und weil ich es bedenklich finde, Zitate zu verkürzen, damit sie zum eigenen Vorschlag passen. Anhand des \"(von thyra = Tür)\" in der Anmerkung halte ich es für sehr wahrscheinlich, dass das Zitat den Begriff \"Thyristor\", erläutert.
