es geht um ein Computerspiel, in dem der Spieler verschiedene Militärflugzeuge fliegt. Weiß zufällig jemand, wie dieser militärische Ausdruck im deutschen Fachjargon heißt (er wird später noch gegen "dive bombing" und "torpedo bombing" abgegrenzt):
"First of all, we will begin with level bombing. Level bombing is used by Medium and Heavy Bombers, like the B-17 here, which drop large numbers of bombs onto a target. However, they need to be flying straight and level to do this. The bombs they use are effective against all targets."
"Note that a Level Bomber drops all its bombs in one go. This is a technique called ‘carpet bombing’, which maximises the chance of a hit." |
