Both are about to ambush another group and Miller is responding to a call from headquarters. I am sure this is about Humphrey's position in relation to Miller, but where exactly?

Explanation:
In this context, it's based on a clock. "I" am in the center of the clock facing to the 12. Someone "on my" some number is in the position where that number would be on the clock. In this case, the six is behind me so that's where this person is as well.
