Stromausfall= power outage heißt zappenduster,

brown-out= teilweiser Stromausfall
heißt soweit ich es berstehe: geringere Spannung im Netz, Glühbirnen strahlen nicht mehr hell, sondern glimmen etwas dunkler (als wär ein Dimmer vorgeschaltet).
