agree  Steffen Walter: Den Begriff "Schnitzerei(en)" würde ich persönlich aber nur bei Holz verwenden, obwohl er auch für Stein gängig zu sein scheint - siehe u.a. http://www.chinanah.com/jade.htm u. http://ruby.chemie.uni-freiburg.de/Vorlesung/silicate_6_1.ht...
