Die Bonbons sind darauf weil meine Lieblingsfächer die Naturwissenschaften sind und da darf man die Dinge in die Luft jagen. Der "happy" Hamburger ist darauf weil meine Familie glücklich ist. take answer no. 2! Explanation: ... even though (people are like that) I would also disagree with some things in answer no. 2, in general it sounds more natural to me - and I'm German. Oh, btw, if I were you, I'd add something like "someone helped me translate this - jemand hat mir bei der Übersetzung geholfen" if you intend to give this to someone who's German - otherwise you'll be flooded with more German and maybe not able to understand it - because after this presentation everyone will think your German is perfect! :-) Sibyl |

Das A + Explanation: Hi Ian, All these suggestions above are wonderful, except for the gender of your grade. It is called "das". I don't want to spoil things for you, but if this project is for school, your teachers will never believe that you did this on your own. I am a language teacher myself (in the UK), and judging from the contents required in your project, I think you have not been taught German for very long. Have you been taught yet how to say "because" in German? This is quite a difficult grammatical chapter and is usually taught in the latter stages. You'll either have to admit that you got help or you'll have to make up a simpler text in English and ask for help once more. Good luck anyway, and I hope youll get all the A+s you are trying for!
