Explanation:
Ubernachtung is lit. "the staying overnight" from the verb ubernachten - to overnight. And unless you are going to be camping in a tent overnight you'll need some sort of accomodation.

Betriebe is the plural of Betrieb which has a number of translations. Of firms, concerns and enterprises, I like firms best here.

neutral  mimichan: I don't know about the British or Australians etc but some native speakers of English might even also think of agencies that do the arrangement instead of accommodating people overnight if you say firms.I have seen an advertisement including camping sites

agree  mimichan: I think what you are trying to say is perfectly correct. Accommodation places can include places that accommodate people only during the daytime so you might also want to try "overnight accommodations." I am glad that you did not use the word locations.

agree  mimichan: I think what you mean to say is perfectly correct. I totally agree with your point but overnight accommodations (with a plural) is good English too, because when a New yoker used that word, it designated hotels and whatever accommodated people overnight

Explanation:
I believe Uebernachtungsbetriebe emcompasses all of the following types of bussinesses such as hotels, bed and breakfast inns, youth hostels, camping sites, overnight cars etc, whatever that accommodates people who need a place to stay overnight.
The reason why I did not translate the word Uebernachtungsbetriebe as ovenight accommodation businesses is because if one includes the word business some people might even think of travel agencies or other types of agencies that make arrangements for people who want to stay overnight somewhere. Additionally, all the advertisements on overnight accommodations only cover places that accommodate people overnight but not agencies that make arrangements.
The reason why I decided not to translate it as "Overnight accommodations/Overnight stay at more than 500.000 locations worldwide" and made my first answer invisible is because I later thought about three hotels with the same name being located in the same location, half a mile a way from one another (pretty close to where I used to live.)
