hallo Schöne wie war dein Tag

Explanation:

One Suggestion a little after 2 am...

Hallo schöne Frau! Wie geht es dir? Hast du deinen Tag genossen?

neutral  xxxAnglo-German: Okay to the first 3 words, no to "Tag genossen". That's Translatorese for my taste.

disagree  nettranslatorde: "Nettes Fräulein" sagt kein Mensch.
40 mins

disagree  Birgit Beer: schliesse mich Alexandra an, negativ
3 hrs
-> Sieh, bitte, oben, Birgit Beer.

Explanation:
This is what I would. While "meine Schöne" is a litteral translation, I prefer the above.

--------------------------------------------------
Note added at 2003-05-21 07:14:31 (GMT)
--------------------------------------------------

This is what I would say. \"Hallo meine Hübsche, wie geht es Dir?\"

The general formula: \"Wie geht es Dir?\" can also be understood as \"how was your day\". I also like Edith\'s \"Wie ist es Dir heute ergangen?\" Alternatives are: \"Wie war\'s heute ?\"(referring to a specific activity, like one\'s job) or \"na, gut durch den Tag gekommen?\"
\"Wie war Dein Tag\" doesn\'t sound very idiomatic to me. I wouldn\'t expect people to say that unless in a badly translated sit com. It certainly sounds like an anglicism, but that\'s just me.

*literal translation I mean, of course, not *litter*al. I didn\'t want to \"trash it\" ;-)
