German translation:Vokuhila oder Okuhila, Bananenspangen
Explanation:
Vokuhila or Okuhila are actually abbreviations of
Vorne kurz hinten lang
or
Oben kurz hinten lang

This is the common (at least in the Ruhrgebiet where I live.. where this hairstyle sadly enough survived the 80ies) name for the hairstyle that is exactly that.. short in the front and top and long in the back. The hairstyle was especially fashionable amongst soccer players in the late 70ties and 8ties, usually in combination with a perm and an "Oliba"... OberLippenBart... a moustache. A wild and scary look if you ask me.

banana clips are "Bananenspangen", banana shaped hair clips that followed the shape of the head and made the wearer look like a complete idiot. ... I assume that is what you are talking about.

I have no idea about bunt orange.

Meeräsche, verbranntes Orange

Explanation:
Mullet offers two possible translations, non directly related to hairstyle:
- Meeräsche, Meerbarbe (fish)
- Spornrädchen (heraldic)
So I could imagine it refers to a certain color.
burnt orange seems to be a very unusual color describtion, I could imagine an orange with traces of black/ash-color in it, or simply darker.
I can't help you with banana clips, and I believe the sentence you mentioned is wrong in the original. Can't make any sense of it.

Hope his helps -

Henning

Zeig', was du hast

Explanation:
It's a pretty literal translation.

I think the sentences is meant to be "If you've got it flaunt it" which basically means "don't hide you light under a bushel, show what you've got".

For a quite entertaining article read:
If you've got it flaunt it, a pretty bellybutton that is

Komet-Maskulin

Explanation:
I found a website with photos of that particular hairstyle:
http://www.hairboutique.com/tips/tip288.htm

And something about the trend in hairstyles in 1999. Don't know if this is exactly the same but it sounds like it:
Das gilt ebenso für die Männer- Frisurenmode "Komet Maskulin". Der modebewußte Mann frisiert seine Haare nach vorne und trägt sie im Nacken etwas länger. Wer mutig ist, stellt seinen Ponny steil nach oben auf.

Mullet = Vokuhila

Explanation:

Es ist ziemlich dunkelrot (between orange and auburn).
Ich denke "Kupferfarben" wäre eine gute Beschreibung.
