ich hatte nicht gesehen,dass es um einen militärischen Kontext geht,dannwürde ich Einsatz-oder Kommandochef sagen
Kommandochef ist nicht schlecht,die gibt es ja sogar bei der Bundeswehr

disagree  tectranslate ITS GmbH: Nein, der Point Man ist der, der vorne geht und auf den als ersten geschossen wird. Das ist nicht notwendigerweise der "Anführer" oder "Kommandochef".
