Here you can find a description in English: http://www.collegeboard.com/prod_downloads/ap/students/studi... It seems to be a practical course instead of a theoretical one, so perhaps "Kunstpraxis" (http://www.kunst.uni-siegen.de/magister-praxis.html) might also work. I think a direct translation would be fine for General Portfolio, it probably included 2D and 3D work, whereas from 2002 the code was used for the 2D part of the course only (the 3D part probably got another code).
