Sieht man beispielsweise häufig bei CNN: "Breaking News" wird eingeblendet, wenn gerade über ein aktuelles Thema berichtet wird.

Aber wie genau übersetzt man eigentlich "breaking news"? Sind "breaking news" tatsächlich "aktuelle Nachrichten"? Wie übersetzt man das am besten ins Deutsche? It's on the tip of my tongue - aber mir fällt es einfach nicht ein. Habt ihr einen tollen Vorschlag für "breaking news"?

The point is whether you need a caption complete with neo-Wagnernian music for a story such as \"President Bush has found his brain cell\" or what anchor-persons actually say, which would be \"Vor einigen Minuten/Eben haben wir die Nachricht bekommen/ist bei uns die Nachricht eingetroffen, dass ... \"
