English term or phrase: inventive leading edge
Es geht um ein Patent für die Schaufeln einer Windturbine. Kontext: "Fig. 3A illustrates an *inventive leading edge* for a wind turbine blade." Ich frage mich, wie *inventive* hier korrekt zu übersetzen wäre. "Inventiv" wird oft mit "erfinderisch" übersetzt, aber bei der "erfinderischen Anströmkante" ist mir bisher nicht ganz wohl. Kann jemand bestätigen, dass "erfinderisch" hier richtig wäre? Ich denke sonst an "neu erfunden", habe das aber im Zusammenhang mit Patenten noch nicht gesehen.

Würde nicht 'neuartig' passen? Das Patent ist ja schließlich für Mechanismen/Erfindungen gedacht, die es in dieser Art bislang noch nicht gegeben hat.

  -> Lukas, hier geht es um reine Patentsprache, ein Fachgebiet für sich selbst. Wenn man sich in der Patentsprache nicht so richtig auskennt, ist ein neutral vielleicht nicht so ganz angebracht.
