English term or phrase:decreased, but slowly integrating
A further question relating to the patent I am translating. As often with such patents, I find the English somewhat clumsy. Maybe someone has got an idea how to render the phrase "but slowly integrating" in German.
"If according to the diagnostics of every valve, the rotational speed of the pump should be decreased, it will be decreased, but slowly integrating."
verringert/herabgesetzt, aber langsam auf den neuen Wert zulaufend / aber so, dass ... s.u., o.ä.
Explanation: Alternativ: ... verringert/herabgesetzt, aber langsam auf den neuen (Soll-)Wert zulaufend / aber so, dass der neue (Soll-)Wert langsam erreicht/erzielt wird.

evtl. statt nur "verringert/herabgesetzt" vielleicht sogar "in Abstimmung mit der Ventilstellung langsam/schrittweise so verringert/herabgesetzt, dass der neue Wert langsam erreicht/erzielt wird ?!
