Raffineriegas
Explanation:
still gas: • Any form or mixture of gases produced in refineries by distillation, cracking, reforming, and other processes. Principal constituents are methane, ethane, ethylene, normal butane, butylene, propane, propylene, etc. Used as a refinery fuel and as a petrochemical feedstock.

Refinery gas:
Non-condensable gas obtained during distillation of crude oil or treatment of oil products (e.g. cracking) in refineries. It consists mainly of hydrogen, methane, ethane and olefins, and is used principally as a refinery fuel. Refinery gas is also known as still gas.

raffineriengas

Explanation:
I found following description at this URL:

http://www.eia.doe.gov/emeu/steo/pub/document/textmi.html#SG...

"Still gas (also known as refinery gas) is any form or mixture of gas produced in refineries by cracking, reforming, and other processes. Still gas is produced as a by-product in the upgrading of heavy petroleum fractions to more valuable lighter products and is consumed internally as refinery fuel. etc."

So I am guessing that "raffineriengas" is appropriate German word for it.
