Tech/Engineering - Petroleum Eng/Sci / Pumps | | English term or phrase: single/double end pump | Three-spindle "single end" pumps are ideal for smaller and medium flow volumes. With these pumps you can cover a wide pressure range of up to 160 bar. If you need less pressure but larger flows, then "double end" pumps will be the right choice. Two-spindle screw pumps are particularly insensitive to contamination such as sand, rust, paraffin and salt or gaseous oils.
