Bisher steht folgendes fest:
Im Rahmen des für das Element empfohlenen maximalen Druckabfalls geht man bei einer Nenngröße von 10 Mikrometern davon aus, dass die Effizienz des Filters bei Teilchen mit einem Durchmesser von 10 Mikrometern oder mehr über die gesamte Lebensdauer des Elements hinweg nicht unter 90% liegt.
Absolute micron particle ratings are different. A micron-absolute filter rating implies that no particles of the rating size or larger will pass; for example, a filter rating may be 10 microns nominal and 15 microns absolute.
