Tech/Engineering - Petroleum Eng/Sci | | English term or phrase: crude oil derivative waste processing | Ich denke, das mir grundsätzlich der Sinn der einzelnen Worte schon klar ist, aber der Satz verwirrt mich - was wird denn jetzt in was verwandelt/weiterverarbeitet?
More than 40 years ago people started with the idea of crude oil derivative waste processing and plastic waste processing to oil derivatives all over the world.

Vor mehr als 40 Jahren kam man weltweit auf die Idee der Verarbeitung von Rohölderivatabfällen und der Verarbeitung von Kunststoffabfällen zu Ölderivaten.
Ich würde es so verstehen, dass man Abfälle aus der Rohölverarbeitung (das Rohöl wird im Verlauf der Verarbeitung teilweise derivatisiert) und Abfälle aus der Kunststoffverarbeitung (Verschnitt und Polymer außerhalb des gewünschten Molekulargewichtsbereichs) in einer Weise verarbeitet (mir fiele beispielsweise Cracken ein), so dass man aus den Produkten neue Erdölderivate erhalten kann. |
