English to German translations [PRO]
Philosophy / philosophy | | English term or phrase: synthesist | Das Wort kommt in folgendem Satz vor: "The next major Christian thinker was Aquinas, the great medieval synthesist who largely shared Augustine's views of the distinctiveness of soul and body, yet also was shaped by the re-introduction of Aristotles into medieval thought.
Ich weiss genau, was synthesist bedeutet, kann aber kein "schönes" deutsches Wort dafür finden. "Vereiniger" klingt unschön, meiner Meinung nach.
