English term or phrase: kind response for the forgiveness
I'm subtitling a video of a speech. This part is about the recipe for success, which is forgiveness.

Forgive anybody and everybody
who ever did anything to you
that was harmful to you.
With no need for justification,
or *kind response for the forgiveness.*

What's this "kind response" here?

Thanks
aykon

Erwiderung
Explanation:
Ich verstehe es so, dass man nicht erwarten soll, dass der Akt der Vergebung vom Gegenüber erwidert wird. "Erwiderung" wäre also eine textnahe Übersetzung. Etwas freier könnte man es auch in Richtung "Dankbarkeit" interpretieren.

nette Geste

Explanation:
should also work here.
as in: it was not necessary to acknowledge the forgiving with a nice gesture.
