ich muss dieses Zitat von Sokrates übersetzen. Schön wäre es natürlich, wenn ich eine offizielle Version davon finden könnte, finde aber keine. Vielleicht kann mir ja jemand hier helfen. Würde mich freuen.

Noch ein Nachtrag zum Überdenken: "Weisheiten" hat oft auch eine leicht negative Konnotation, "Weisheit" dagegen nicht! Jeder kennt z.B. das "behalt deine Ratschläge/Weisheiten für dich".
Ich zweifle an der "Vaterschaft"; das Zitat findet sich in der Form auch fast ausschließl. auf Coachingseiten. Sokrates verglich den "Lehrer" u.a. mit einer Hebamme,stellte v.a. Fragen.
Gemeint ist hier wohl der "sokratische Dialog" als Erkenntnisprozess.
Wenn das ein Originalzitat ist, dann hat Sokrates auf vermutlich vom Erzieher oder vom Lehrer gesprochen. Falls du danach Googeln möchstest, wäre der Erzieher ein Tipp. Denn das waren die griechischen Philospophen ja oft (Aristoteles/Alexander)
