Ich bin etwas verwirrt: engl. "diopter" ist doch eigentlich dt. "Dioptrie", während dt. "Diopter" auf Engl "sight" oder "peep-sight" ist... Von der Beschreibung her könnte es sich allerdings um eine Nahlinse handeln, die aufgesetzt wird, um Objekte im Nahbereich zu betrachten bzw. ein Zoom- sozusagen in ein Makro-Objektiv verwandelt.

Der "close-up diopter" ist definitiv eine Nahlinse! Scheinbar wird eine "close-up lens" manchmal auch als "close-up diopter" bezeichnet, so als würde man einen elektrischen Ofen ein "Watt" nennen... Siehe z.B.
