"Lens barrel" soll mit "Objektivtubus" übersetzt werden, doch mit "compensation optics" kann ich leider gar nichts anfangen. Im weiteren Text wird "compensation" immer mit "Korrektur" übersetzt, weiss jemand, ob das auch in diesem Zusammenhang richtig ist?
Weiterer Kontext: Orientation of the ***compensation optics*** lens barrel along the optical axis maintained using the force exerted by angle-mounted springs and ceramic ball bearings (The rotation of these ceramic ball bearings ensures that the corrective optics are driven smoothly).
