Es handelt sich um eine Beschreibung der Augenmuschel (eyecup):

"The newly-developed, standard Eyecup Eg has an improved **mount** for attaching it to the eyepiece. It is now less prone to detach inadvertently compared to the old eyecup."

Wäre hierfür die Entsprechung "Bajonett" richtig?
