Explanation:
Dupe??? It CAN only be a colloquial abbreviation of "duplicate" - what on earth could a "dupe negative" be, otherwise? I certainly cannot see it being a "negative intended to mislead"...........

Diese Antwort ist zwar nicht der genaue Ausdruck, da mag Dup-Negativ stimmmen, er gibt aber auch für den Laien an, was man darunter versteht. Der Vorgang wird im Deutschen auch dupen genannt.
