Aus einem Buch über Logodesign: Designer besprechen und kritisieren Logos von unterschiedlichen Designagenturen. Was ist hier mit "screens" gemeint? Der Begriff wird im Englischen so vielseitig verwendet, dass ich mir nicht sicher bin, welche Bedeutung er in diesem Fall hat. Vielen Dank im Voraus!

Delicious use of color tints and ***screens*** in the illustration. Space is consciously used in the placement of the name. Umlauts, the diacritical marks over the ‘o’s, move the sound of the vowels to the front of the mouth, but visually make this look Germanesque.

Gemäss POLYGRAPH DICTIONARY ist es der Raster.
Aufrasterung entspricht einer früheren Proz-Frage entsprechend dem Begriff "sceening".

In diesem Kontext sind wohl Raster, Rasterung und Aufrasterung durchaus in Ordnung. Aber "Raster" ist die genauë Übersetzung des Begriffs "screen".
