Ich übersetze die Beschreibung eines Fotografen, wie er beim Foto-Shooting von Traktoren vorgegangen ist. So wurde eine Lightbank benutzt. Und über diese schreibt er:
"The lightbox provided consistent soft lighting. Even with the largest
machines in place, the light metered at f16 at
1/200th and lost only about 3/4 stop from the
top of the exhaust stack to the floor."
Es geht also um "Lichtverlust". Aber was bedeutet "stop" hier in diesem Kontext?
