Kann hier mit ***sparkling*** einfach glänzend gemeint sein? Ich finde sprudelnd o. Ä. passt hier absolut nicht hin.

ganz UND funkelnd / glänzend


Explanation:
Unter "sparkling" im "sparkling new" verstehe ich etwa "brand spanking new", daher "ganz neu". Ich weiss es nicht, ob es einen deutschen Spruch wie "glänzend neu".

Im zweiten Beispiel wird es tatsächlich mit der Bedeutung "funkelnd" oder "glänzend" verwendet. :-)

Na ja, vielleicht deute ich das mit dem ersten Beispiel aber falsch... Dann würde es auch dort \"funkelnd\" oder so ähnlich heißen. ;-)

agree  Klaus Herrmann: es gäbe wohl funkel(niegel)nagelneu sowie brandneu (leuchtet auch), aber ich bin mir nicht so sicher, ob nicht beide einfach nur funkeln...

hört man in diesem Zusammenhang oft, obwohl in solchen Fällen im Dt. oft zweifelhaft ist, was dabei wen aufregt... ;-)
