Wird "bulk" hier im Sinne von "principal" verwendet? Soll es also "Hauptbrechungsindex" heißen? Oder ist der "Bulk-Brechungsindex" (so in einem Patent gefunden) etwas anderes? Oder kann ich "bulk" einfach unübersetzt lassen? |

Bulk wird in dem Zusammenhang normalerweise immer für das Volumen (im Gegensatz zur Oberfläche) verwendet, insofern ist wohl der Brechungsindex des Volumens gemeint. Da es um einen Ovberflächensensor geht, klingt das durchaus sinnvoll.
Das ist aber nur mein Physik-Allgemeinwissen, ich hab grad nicht genug Zeit, mich in das Setup reinzudenken. |
