wird euch die Hitze hinwegfegen wie eine gewaltige Sintflut Explanation: river of heat - Fluss aus Hitze, eine heiße Flut, obwohl Wasser und Feuer doch ziemlich gegensätzlich sind. Eine ziemlich gewollte Spannung, die hier entstehen soll. Andererseits bekommt die Situation dadurch etwas apokalyptisches. Was ist apokalyptischer und zugleich wässriger als die Sintflut, die ja auch wie eine kurze Naturkatastrophe kommt, über das Land schwappt und alles mitnimmt. Die Hitze also als Sintflut, flut, die mitreist und tötet, die alles Lebendige hinwegfegt. Irgendwie in der Richtung gedacht kam dann "die Hitze, die euch hinwegfegt wie eine gewaltige Sintflut". |
