Tech/Engineering - Printing & Publishing | | English term or phrase: line acquisition clock | The Horizontal minimum amount of pixels to achieve the required horizontal resolution on the maximum controlled width will be at least 8192 pixels (3.000 mm divided by 8192 pixel = 0.36 mm/pixel), so that just two linear scan cameras of 4096 pixel each will be enough.
The system is provided by a digital encoder that gives the video system the proper line acquisition clock to determine Y resolution of about 0,38 mm at any product speed (max. speed 400 mt/min).
This is a best configuration because the system can work with the same resolution of about 0.3 mm on transversal and longitudinal lines: on other hands we have a square pixel.
