English term or phrase:membrane list screen
Aus dem Bedienerhandbuch einer Schmalbahndruckmaschine (Druck und Weiterverarbeitung hauptsächlich für Haftetiketten auf empfindlichen Bedruckstoffen). In diesem Kapitel werden die unzähligen Bildschirme beschrieben, die am Bedienerterminal angezeigt werden. Alles funktioniert per Touch-Screen und die Bildschirme heißen beispielweise "Start Up Screen" (Startbildschirm), "UV Setup Screen" (UV-Einrichtungsbildschirm) usw.
Hier hänge ich fest:

Dieser Textteil scheint nachträglich eingefügt worden zu sein, denn der Begriff "membrane" ist im vorliegenden PDF nirgends zu finden und die Abbildungsnummern sind verrutscht, an anderen Stellen heißen diese Bildschirme ganz einfach "XXXXX SCREEN", und in keinem anderen Handbuch des Herstellers wurde je von "membrane" gesprochen. Auffällig ist auch, dass in dem eingefügten Textteil ein "read only display" plötzlich "view box" heißt. Meint der Autor mit "membrane" einfach "touch screen" oder entgeht mir hier gerade und peinlicherweise etwas ganz arg technisches?
Die Frage solltest Du mMn schließen und dabei selbst einen Glossareintrag erstellen.

'Membrane' control panel: This is a set of buttons on each print station. They take a plastic sheet (membrane) with the button
symbols and put it on top of soft buttons. (kind of like an ATM, where the numbers are usually just raised a bit - not full push buttons; I'm not sure if the membrane is glued on or just slides in to some slots) Under this plastic sheet, each of the buttons also has a green light. You see how the four buttons in the middle have a green light in this picture? In fact, it's just a cutout of the membrane, and the green light shines through. When the button's function is activated, the green light turns on."
Das sind die Folienbedienfelder an den einzelnen Druckstationen. Der Bediener kann deren Ansicht als read only auch am Hauptbedienterminal abrufen, damit er nicht zur Druckstation laufen muss, um die Einstellungen abzulesen. Coqueiro - du warst auf dem richtigen Weg, magst du das bitte als Antwort einstellen?
