English to German translations [PRO] Social Sciences - Psychology / book about communication etc. | | English term or phrase: memory cognition | Short-term memory
This is a very interesting side of **memory cognition**. The key to it is attention. Short-term memory has a limited storage facility in terms of the number of items it can store and in duration; in other words, it is limited in the amount of information it can store and how long it can store it for.
I'm trying hard to find the right way to translate this term. Tentatively made it "kognitives Gedächtnis", but grateful for any other suggestions.
