Noch eine Frage zum Kaufvertrag der Immobilie in Florida: Buyer may conduct professional and walk-though isnpections." Was genau ist eine "walk-through inspection"? Vielen Dank im Voraus.

"Dem Käufer wird gestattet, Inspektionen durch einen Fachmann durchführen zu lassen und es auch selbst zu besichtigen/begehen."

Mir ist nicht bekannt, ob es auch noch andere Inspektionen als "walk-through" gibt (vielleicht "drive-by"? :-))). Ich kennen niemanden, der jemals ein Haus gekauft hat, ohne es durchlaufenderweise besichtigt zu haben.

David Moore: I think "walk-through" means you (or your agent) will not be allowed to start taking the place to pieces e.g. to find cockroaches in the flues, dry-rot in the roof etc....

-> Yeah, makes sense. And the German word "Besichtigung" includes the walk-through aspect and isn't as strong as "Inspektion"

Armorel Young: David is right, on a walk-through inspection you get to see what is immediately apparent, but you don't start carrying out tests or taking up floorboards.
