Der Verkehrswert (auch: gemeiner Wert) entspricht dem Preis, der bei der Veräußerung eines Wirtschaftsgutes unter normalen Umständen zu erzielen ist. Der Verkehrswert ist vor allem bei der Bewertung von Grundvermögen und sonstigem Vermögen maßgebend. Hilfswerte wie Kurswert oder Nennwert dienen zur Konkretisierung des Verkehrswertes.
