English term or phrase: retail therapy
It´s one of these catch-phrases in a glossy brochure of a flooring company, so unfortunately no further context.
Leo gives you "Einkaufen als Therapie"??? Don´t particularly like that one.
Any good ideas. Thank you in advance.

disagree  ciliegina: I've not heard Einkaufstherapie, and Frustkauf is negative (been a victim of Frustkauf myself!)

Ich habe im Deutschen auch "Einkaufstherapie" gefunden, an sich ist "retail therapie" das, was man macht, wenn man total entnervt ist, also "Frustkäufe", aber ich denke, das ist in deinem Zusammenhang wahrscheinlich nicht passend...
