"Cash-in-Lieu" apparently means "in place of cash" - but "retail in place of cash" does not make any sense to me - could it be "retail with cash substitutes"? |

Sachleistungen werden direkt zwischen der Kasse und ihren Vertragspartnern verrechnet.
Als Barleistungen werden solche Leistungen bezeichnet, die nur in Form von Geld erbracht werden können wie beispielsweise Krankengeld oder Wochengeld. Sie ersetzen dem Versicherten einen Einkommensausfall.
