Ein Ausdruck aus dem Schiffsbau, bei dem ich etwas Hilfe von Fachleuten brauchen würde. Es geht um die Anordnung Schiffsmotor und die Kraftübertragung von Motor zu Welle und zum Propeller (Schiffsschraube). Dabei kommt immer wieder der Term "tie rod" vor. Ist das hier eine "Zugstange" (LEO) eine bloße "Verbindungsstange" (nach LEO) oder etwas ganz anderes.
Explanation: Ich glaube, das ist es, und ist genügend allgemein. Diese Stange verstellt den Propeller und zieht und drückt somit. Somit eignet sich m.E. weder Zug- noch Druckstange.

Ja, Rolf, mittlerweile tendiere ich auch hierzu. Es wird sowohl gezogen als auch gedrückt. Also ist das neutrale Verbindungsstange wohl das richtige. Die Belege zeigen auch, dass das bei Propelleranordnungen so genannt wird.
I am inclined to prefer this word - it connects the hydraulic actuator (in the CP box) to the "business" end - where the push-pull motion of the tie rod is translated into rotation of the propeller blades around their respective axes (and by this, changing the pitch of the propeller). The pitch of the helicopter rotor blades is controlled in a similar manner - but the tie rods are outside the shaft there (no need for "water proofing" the mechanism) .

Each slipper block rides in the slot in the blade foot (6) and axial movement of the tie rod (14) is transmitted into rotational movement of the propeller blades (10)"
