Eigentlich geht es hier doch nicht um Fitwerden, wie etwa die alljährliche Skigymnastik, es geht um vorzeitige Information.
Beispiel:
Ski-Fans können sich völlig unterschiedlich auf die bevorstehende Ski-Saison einstimmen. Die einen stöbern gern im Internet und informieren sich über die aktuellen Ski-Tests oder angesagten Skigebiete. Die anderen wiederum rasen mit der Konsole ins virtuelle Schneegestöber ein. neutral  Rolf Kern: Ich gehe davon aus, das "tuning up" beziehe sich die TV-Kette, die sich auf das Ereignis einstellt, und nicht auf die Ski-Fans.//Tönt das nicht etwas "blauäugig" für das, was eine TV-Station macht?

  -> Rolf, das kommt doch auf den weiteren Kontext an. Ich halte 'einstimmen auf' immer noch für eine Möglichkeit, und außerdem ist der Begriff im Originaltext *tune up*. Die Entscheidung liegt doch bei aykon.
