English term or phrase: Slacken off the grub screws on each of the sprockets and blanks
I was told that a blank is a sprocket without teeth - another form of sprocket - but now I know less than before. Does anyone know a good German translation for blank in this context?

Thank you,

Antje

blank = Rohling

Explanation:
A blank is a machined/manufactured part without its final, definitive elements or characteristics. In this case, it would be a component looking like a sprocket but without the teeth and possibly without a centre hole.
