die Platte

Explanation:
Slab = die Platte, but could also be FARBENTISCH in case slab is used as (INK) SLAB

Overrun: Fabrikationsüberschuss (nach Auftrag) or Überlauf(en)

Yield = Ertrag, Ausbeute

All depending on context.

If you're not familiar with Logos yet, go to www.logos.it (an excellent site) and check these terms out (lots of context is given)

Hope it helps

Printing Industry

Explanation:
I am sure there is a mistake in your source. It should be: Druckindustrie.

1 day 13 hrs
run = run; finishing = Veredelung

Explanation:
I just completed an interpreting assignment for a leading German publishing house and learned that the term "run" is being used in German as well. (That term referring to the number of copies being printed in one "run" of the presses.) Finishing (actually, the English term is "decorating and finishing" and applies to covers, dust jackets, and the like) = Veredelung. So your finishing line might be Veredlungsstraße or some such. You might be able to find some useful information at www.arvato.com
