|English term or phrase: dual level|
|terminals are dual level|
Anschlußblock mit doppelter Durchführung / Durchkontaktierung
This is a prime example of the significance of context. The English word terminal can mean so many different things that it is impossible to guess what you are looking for (as is borne out by such widely diverging answers).
I get the sense that this might be an electrical connector, i.e. a terminal block. It would be extremely helpful to have at least the entire sentence in which the phrase appears - and it helps you, too, you get more meaningful suggestions.
That being said, here are a couple of references on which I based my suggestion
Weidmüller Inc. has developed pluggable terminal block connections in a variety of configurations--in either screw-clamp or tension-clamp terminations. The screw-clamp option is the WDU/BLZ terminal block combination, which offers either a branch or dual-level connection. Additional base terminal blocks can be incrementally added to meet the application need. Plugs can then be selected, and optional locking blocks can be added to secure the plugs into the rail assembly.
The ZDK 1.5 is a dual-level terminal block that features two feedthroughs, providing twice the wiring density of a standard terminal block. The ZTR 2.5/3AN terminal block contains three wire clamps and a disconnect, enabling users to have two connections on one side and one on the otherside.
And, not to belabor a point, this is what Ernst has to offer on the subject of terminal alone:
erminal (batt) / Pol m, [Pol]klemme f, Endableitung f
terminal (electron) / Anschluß[punkt], Ein- o. Ausgang m
terminal (aut contr) / Anschlußblock m
terminal (electr) / Anschlußklemme f
terminal (of ceramic capacitors) / Belag m
terminal (aero) / Air-Terminal m
terminal (traffic) / Terminal m
terminal (telecom) / Endamt n, EA
terminal adj / begrenzend, Grenz...
terminal (chem) / endständig
[communication] terminal (comp) / Daten[end]station, -endstelle f, (Post:) Datenendeinrichtung f, DEE, Terminal n, Terminal n
