Das Wort wird auch im Deutschen für standardmässige Regale benutzt, in denen elektronische Komponenten (Quad in diesem Fall) eingebaut werden können.

habe ich nur mit "c" gefunden.

Unter www.platine.ch gibt es z.B. ein Elektroniklexikon, in dem folgende Definition zu finden ist: Quadrac = Kombination von Triac und Diac.
Triac und Diac werden hier u.a. auch erklärt.
Andere Quelle:www.hinkel-electronic.de_artikel oder Suchbegriffe "Elektronik" und "Quadrac" in Google eingeben.

agree  Johannes Gleim: Das hatte ich auch gesehen. Leider gibt es von Laura de Simone keine Hinweise. Wir können wirklich nur raten. Vermutlich ist es eine Zusammensetzung aus Quadruple und Rack. Aber das kann je nach Gebiet sehr unterschiedlich übersetzt werden
