VDC Explanation: Gleichstrom ist zwar absolut richtig. Aber DC wird auch in vielen technischen Begriffen im Deutschen benutzt und ist inzwischen unmisverständlich. VDC wird auch in sehr vielen technischen Dokumenten, besonders im Computerbereich, als Abkürzung für Volt Gleichhstrom benutzt. Und "VAC" für Volt Wechselstrom.
